LaptopChipLevel provides hardware diagnostic and repair services for laptops, MacBooks, and desktop computers. Our work is focused on component-level fault diagnosis and repair, including but not limited to motherboard repair, thermal servicing, screen and keyboard replacement, and battery and charging circuit assessment.
We are an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by any laptop or computer manufacturer, including Apple Inc., Lenovo, HP, Dell, Asus, Acer, or any other brand whose hardware we may service.
Manufacturer brand names and model references used on this website are used for identification purposes only, to describe the types of hardware we are capable of servicing. No claim of official manufacturer authorisation or partnership is made or implied.
Our services cover hardware faults and physical repair only. We do not provide software support, virus removal, operating system installation, or data recovery services as primary offerings, though we may advise on these areas in the context of a hardware fault assessment.
We operate from a single workshop location in Oxford. We do not currently offer postal repair services or on-site callout services.
The content on this website, including articles and informational guides, is written by or reviewed by the workshop's technical staff and reflects our experience and knowledge as at the publication date. Technical information may become outdated as hardware and software evolves. Content is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice for any specific situation.
We do not publish sponsored content, affiliate links, or paid product placements. Any external references or tools mentioned are included because they are genuinely useful, not for commercial consideration.
LaptopChipLevel has no affiliation with any parts supplier, component manufacturer, or referral network that would constitute a conflict of interest in the advice or services we provide. Components used in repairs are sourced from suppliers we assess as reputable; we receive no commercial incentive to recommend specific brands or parts beyond our own judgement of their suitability.
As a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Services provided by LaptopChipLevel must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time, and at a reasonable price if no price was agreed in advance. If a service does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to remedies including a repeat of the service or a price reduction. Our Refund Policy provides further detail on how we handle complaints and refund requests.
LaptopChipLevel operates in compliance with applicable UK regulations, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the UK GDPR, and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations where applicable to components replaced in the course of our work.
